Meet Our Pastors

Sandra Roach, Senior Pastor

Sandra answered the call to full-time ministry in 1987 by accepting the dual positions of Youth Director and Christian Outreach Center Director at Washington Pike United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, while pursuing a degree in Religious Studies from the University of Tennessee. In 1995, God called Sandra to minister His word to women by establishing "Women in the Word Ministries, Inc.," a 501(c)3 non-profit ministry. Combining her gifts and her love for women who were hurting, she delighted to minister the message of hope found in Jesus Christ. In 1999, the name was changed to "Life Changers, Inc." as the boundaries of ministry changed from women to the entire family. In leading retreats, conferences, bible studies and one-on-one discipleship, God enabled Sandra to fulfill the call He placed on her life. Sandra was ordained as a minister of the gospel in February, 2003 by Faith Christian Fellowship International Church, Inc.

In June, 2004 Sandra and her husband, Steve, answered God's call to start a church in Sevier County, the central point of years of ministry. The first service of "Life Changers Fellowship" was held in their former location on September 26, 2004, with thirty-six people present. In 2012 the church bought eleven acres in Pigeon Forge, moved into its new campus and became "Life Changers International." Pastor Sandra has been happily married for 43 years to Steve, who serves as the church administrator. They have three children; Shelley, Timothy and his wife, Holly, and Zachary and his wife, Amanda - all active in the ministry. Their first grandchild, Baylee, was born in May, 2014, followed by Teagan in October, 2014 and Millie in February, 2016.
